Biography of Brent Timothy


Brent TimothyBrent Timothy is a statistician with EFETAC located in Boise, ID. He joined the USDA Forest Service in June 2010. Brent is currently working on the Fire Program Analysis (FPA), where he does SAS programming and helps estimate large fire probability and cost. Brent received his Bachelor's degree in statistics from Brigham Young University (BYU), his Master's in statistics from George Washington University, and completed the coursework for a PhD at the University of Wyoming. Before joining EFETAC, Brent worked with FPA as a contractor for two years. He has also taught statistics at BYU-Idaho and worked for a risk management company in Wyoming.
